Sofía Vergara is bringing back the over-the-knee boots and skinny jean combo that dominated the 2010s.
On November 25, the 51-year-old actor and jean-fluencer was spotted out and about in a denim-on-denim look that further proves that time is a flat circle. During an outing in Los Angeles, Vergara paired a distressed light-wash chambray button-up with matching skinny jeans, topping off the look with stark black over-the-knee boots and a quilted Chanel purse. Of course, she’s still sporting the Gen-Z-approved middle part in her hair, which she styled pin straight. You can see the image here.
Though it’s unclear which brand of jeans Sofía is sporting, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that she whipped out a pair from her own collection, which is sold exclusively in the US at Walmart. She previously modelled a pair of her aforementioned jeans with a black lace-trimmed top on Instagram in October, styling her denim with a cute going-out top that would make any millennial feel right at home.

Sofía Vergara is having “a very interesting year,” between launching sun-protection-forward beauty brand Toty; the Hollywood strikes, and her divorce from Joe Manganiello. “I don’t want to say ‘bad’ or anything like that, but it’s been very interesting and very difficult,” she recently told People. “I went through a divorce this year, the SAG strike that went on for so long. I’ve seen my friends struggle — some had to take their kids out of their schools or had problems with their mortgages, so it’s been a weird, weird year.”
Vergara continued: “I think all the things are resolving, everything is going to be okay and I’m very excited for next year.” Even so, she’s not looking for a “fresh start,” per se. “I don’t know if there’s such a thing as a fresh start at 51,” the Modern Family star said. “I don’t know if I’m fresh anymore, but I’m just excited. I’m excited for the TV show that is coming. I’m excited for Toty, which has been doing really well since we started and people are loving it because it’s such a good-quality product.” She added: “I have a lot of projects for next year that hopefully people will love as well.”
