Many of you took to the comments to express your support for the Green Party, while Martin Lewis, the consumer journalist and money-saving expert, and Hugh Grant, the actor and Prime Minister in Love Actually, also received honourable mentions.
Many people expressed their frustration over the two-party political system. One person commented, “Labour, reluctantly. But I just can’t take any more of the Torys and don’t see any other party realistically winning this time around,” while another added, “We really need some better options because right now none of the choices seem worthy of the job.”
We also opened up our DMs to see who you’re voting for – and a further 1400 of you responded. It was a similar story with 64.7% selecting Labour, 10.7% going for Lib Dems, 16.5% choosing ‘Other’, and 8.1% selecting Conservatives.
