What is Temptation Island?
First, a little refresher — after all, the show isn’t actually about the island, it’s about the temptation.
Netflix recently picked up the reality show for its ninth season. In this version of the dating show, four couples arrive on Temptation Island where they part ways and live with a group of singles of the opposite sex. Then, they are faced with various challenges to tempt them away from their partners. (Is it the most ethical show? No.)
At the end of their time on the island, each couple decides whether they want to stick with their original partners, break up or leave with someone new. Brutal.

Where is Temptation Island filmed?
Temptation Island was shot in Hawai’i’s Kailua-Kona, a large town on the west coast of the tropical island. The cast members lived in two separate villas while filming.
