Love Island is officially underway. After just one week in the villa, the islanders have already shared plenty of flirty banter and dramatic exchanges. Couples have formed and broken up. The hideaway has opened for business. Tears have been shed. Bombshells have exploded their way into the villa. It is, in other words, all happening.
But the real question is — how long will it last? When is Love Island due to wrap up, crown its winners and close its doors?
When does Love Island air?
Much to the chagrin of partners and housemates around the nation, Love Island is on every single night, with episodes airing at 9pm on ITV2. On Saturdays, ITV airs “Unseen Bits” from the week before.
What happens before the Love Island finale?
Before we get to the finale episode, there’s still a lot of drama set to go down at the villa. While we don’t know exactly what will happen, there are bound to be plenty of new bombshells and recouplings to shake things up and test the couples’ resilience.
One big event set to happen is the infamous Casa Amor switch-up, that sees all of the boys (or girls) sneaking out of the villa to meet a whole new group of potential matches at a separate villa. For the past three seasons, they’ve set off for Casa Amor on the 28th episode, so we may be seeing a similar pattern this year.
When is the Love Island finale?
Love Island typically runs for eight weeks, which would make for a tentative finale date of July 31 — so mark those calendars!
