A concoction made up of woody fir resin and cedar, warm and intoxicating amber, leathery saffron, and a touch of floral jasmine, the resulting blend is best described as sophisticated and powerful, yet warm and comforting — with a slight touch of airy sweetness. The truly masterful thing about Baccarat Rouge 540 is how all the notes are blended so expertly that you’d struggle to pick out one specifically. Refusing to neatly fit in one specific fragrance family, it’s impossible to categorise, and its perfect balance of woody and floral notes makes it a stand-out scent for both men and women. Plus, thanks to the high concentration of oil in its formula, it’ll stick around on your skin for at least ten hours.
