Selena Gomez is promoting her new album with Benny Blanco, which means a new spring manicure trend is dropping every other minute.

So far, we’ve seen Gomez add an expensive touch of Parisian flair to her “Sunset Blvd” music video with red bottom nails before jumping right into spring pastel trends with lavender milk nails. Before that, she shared her cheeky single, “Call Me When You Break Up,” wearing a set of cobalt blue nails in the Après nail polish shade In the Navy. Can you believe it hasn’t even been a month since she debuted peach champagne nails at the Oscars?

So, what do you do when you’ve ran out of new manicure trends to set and still have a ton of press events on your schedule? You reach for an old favourite, of course. Lately, Selena Gomez has been stepping out with the same bright scarlet nails we saw her wear back in spring 2024…with one major difference.

Per celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik, Selena Gomez wore the Essie Gel Couture shade Rock the Runway during her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on March 20. The pink and blue undertones make this classic red shade really pop, especially when paired with a little black dress or the black leather skirt set Gomez wore the very same day.

Of course, this shade of scarlet looked just as good combined with a red lip and the white ensemble she wore to a press appearance on March 21.
