Stop the search! Pippa Middleton has found the ultimate comfortable-yet-stylish heels, and we might just have to bookmark these babies for party season.
Pippa looked just as chic as the Princess of Wales at her royal sibling’s Christmas carol service on 8 December (they both made a case for head-to-toe tonal dressing), but it was her shoes that majorly caught our attention.
Wearing a tweed suit jacket and matching trousers by Saloni, Pippa kept her look low-key – and ultra-comfy – by adding a pair of block-heeled black pumps with a chic pointed toe.
And if you’re in the market for an easy-wearing heel, we can confirm that Pippa’s choice is the ‘Josie’ jet black pump by Emmy London, which retails for £445. In fact, it’s a style also loved by Kate Middleton herself – she owns the shoes in two of her favourite shades: navy and green.
The wider shape of the heel and luxuriously padded insole make them easy to wear through the day – something which Kate can no doubt vouch for, since she regularly attends events and engagements in them.

Understandably, however, not all of us have £450 to spend on heels, no matter how luxe. So if you’re after something a little more affordable, we love this pair from Zara that are a little lower in price, yet just as stylish.
We’d be willing to bet that you won’t regret investing in a pair of comfy black heels – Pippa Middleton-inspired or not – since they are an essential in any party wardrobe, and easy to wear with 90% of the rest of your clothes, too.
