Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber have been besties for over a decade, so when Bieber threw a party for her skin care line Rhode, Jenner was obviously in attendance. Since this was a Bieber party, the dress code was obviously “look cool” — and Jenner delivered in a strappy, cutout tube top that defies the laws of physics. (Bieber also nailed it with a full-on suit moment.)
Kendall Jenner, who attended with her little sister Kylie, went the risqué route and donned a black tube top that was really more just strips of fabric than an actual top. It was made of black fabric in varying widths, with lots of space for her skin to peek through. How did it stay in place throughout the night? We have a feeling there was some strategically placed costume tape in use to keep the straps from migrating as she moved. (You can see the look in the video below.)

The top ended mid-midriff, and Jenner paired it with a simple pair of high-waisted, belted black trousers, sunglasses, a black bag, and a shopping bag in Rhode’s signature grey. (Were there party favours? Jealous!) The top does bear a striking similarity to the equally strappy black Schiaparelli gown Jenner wore to the Academy Museum Gala, with surrealist halter straps sliced across the bodice — just turned up to 100.

Jenner’s new blonde hair was styled in subtle bends and she wore a minimal manicure and lip gloss. Kylie also wore a barely-there top, opting for a super low-cut halter tucked into leather trousers, while the hostess went in the complete opposite direction in a slouchy grey suit, patterned shirt, and tie look.
