Kate Middleton steps out in chic knee-high boots are more wearable than your Sambas

Give Kate Middleton some knee-high, block-heeled boots and she’ll make them look like the most comfortable, wearable footwear out there. She’s known for wearing classic, comfortable styles –from heeled pumps to her favourite Vejas trainers – but let us not forget that she also loves to put an elegant spin on a wardrobe staple – knee-high boots – with a slightly-ruched leg and block medium-height heel.

The Princess of Wales needed a refined-yet-practical look for her visit to Sebby’s Corner, a local charity in London that helps families with young children with essential items. As is her usual approach for charity visits, she went for a low-key look which kept the focus on the important cause at hand.

For royals in particular, fashion is all about putting out an intention – and to convey her message, the Princess of Wales used three simple pieces. A thin roll-neck jumper (a wardrobe staple); a midi skirt skirt with a slight flare; and, finally, the boots.

It’s chic, practical… and subtle.

Kate’s go-to boots are in fact a beloved pair from one of her favourite designers, Gianvito Rossi, which are thought to be a bespoke brown suede shade to match her midi skirt. We wouldn’t expect any less. Fitting loosely at the ankle, they give a slightly slouchy look which only adds to the relaxed-yet-elevated vibe of her look.
