I have some questions for Julia Roberts about these shoes. Number one: how do we walk in these without tripping?
The Oscar-winning actor (somehow) walked the red carpet at the London premiere of her new movie, Leave the World Behind, in a pair of Gucci shoes embellished with chandelier crystals that moved like a particularly glittery fringe with every step.

The shoes have a pretty simple shape, with a pointed toe and low heel. Close up, they have a Cinderella-meets-Vegas-showgirl vibe.

Distracted though I may be by the shoes, the rest of Roberts’ ensemble is also worthy of attention. The actor wore a leggy, baby pink Gucci shorts suit with a black lace bra peeking out from underneath the buttoned double-breasted blazer. She matched her blinged-out footwear with an equally sparkly diamond collar necklace, which offset the soft pastel colour of her outfit.

On the red carpet, Julia Roberts told Reuters of the new film, which also stars Ethan Hawke and Mahershala Ali: “There’s always about 17 and a half things going on at one time in every scene for each person. It was just all the layers of the people and the circumstances.”
