Jennifer Aniston just made ‘hair bronzing’ a thing

From The Rachel to the short flicked-out bob and the fluffy lob, Jennifer Aniston has been behind some of the biggest hair trends in recent pop culture. But it seems she’s also ahead of the curve when it comes to the hair colour technique you’re going to see everywhere this spring and summer.

Jen has leaned increasingly into cooler hair tones of late, pairing finely spun, ice bronde highlights into her brunette strands as recently as February 5, when Jen teamed up with Selena Gomez for a Galentine’s Event organised by her brand Lolavie and Selena’s label Rare Beauty.

But in a new video Jennifer Aniston uploaded onto her Instagram on February 26, her most recent hair update reveals a warmer glow from golden tones pulled through her hair.

Enter hair ‘bronzing’, a colour movement that warms up the hair, emulating what bronzer does for skin. Rather than look all-out sun-kissed, the warm honey-like hues are blended seamlessly for added dimension. Think your hair’s afterglow at golden hour or, how, indeed, you can use bronzer to contour your cheeks and forehead.

According to celebrity colourist, Harriet Muldoon, who works at Larry King’s London salon, ‘bronzing’ is all the rage for SS25. She loves creating a “toffee blonde” hue, where blonde and treacle shades meet.
