Is Obsession about to be the new Sex/Life on Netflix?

Obsession is the latest Netflix series that you will be, erm, obsessed with.

Based on Josephine Hart’s 1991 book Damage, which centred on a British politician’s scandalous love affair with his son’s fiancée, this four-part erotic thriller most definitely gives us steamy Fifty Shades of Grey slash Sex/Life vibes, so things are certainly hot under the collar over here. As per the book, the series, which stars Richard Armitage and Charlie Murphy, will follow the tale of a forbidden affair, but this time between a top surgeon and his son’s fiancée. As their dark and passionate secret spirals out of control, so does the pair’s all-engulfing, dangerous obsession with each other. But to what extent?
