Fans of Miami Vice, look alive: H&M Studio’s SS25 collection is exactly what your wardrobe is missing, and it’s coming early next month.
Call it the runway effect, but we’ve been obsessed with the retro athleisure and resortwear trends that have been floating around of late – and so have H&M. Hot off the wheels of their White Lotus collection, which launched today (20th February), Studio SS25 is for the woman who knows how to work hard and play harder.
Think: ’80s power suits, holiday-ready separates and sporty details effortlessly merging to create looks worthy of both city pavements and poolside parties. Florida to California.
“We looked to the power woman and imagined her whole day – not just corporate life – because her sense of style goes beyond the 9-5,” says Linda Wikell, designer at H&M Studio. “She needs it all: tailoring, statement dresses, shirting, easy separates and denim, but in a way that brings gravitas and glamour.”
Following the lead of Victoria Beckham and Alexander McQueen, H&M Studio SS25 features two suits, crisp shirts (one of which is a clever bodysuit for easy tucking), a ladylike pencil skirt and pointed toe pumps. Taking note from Louis Vuitton and Versace, the collection also makes space for lycra, ripstop and heavy-duty cotton fabrics.
Key pieces to note? According to the high-street brand the draped mini dress is going to be a hit, reinforcing the female form while flirting with that executive lifestyle theme. But, if you asked us, the bouclé co-ord is the most wearable showstopper. That’s what we’re making a beeline for.
Shop the full 43 piece line-up in select stores and via hm.com on the 6th March, or prep your baskets with our top 24 picks from the lookbook below in the meantime.
