What silhouettes can you expect from the adidas X Molly Mae launch?
Fashion junkies will know that, while these colourways are new for 2026, the silhouettes aren’t, with the OG Samba launched back in 1950; the high-top design was marketed as a football boot with ‘excellent’ traction. And the adidas track pants? Part of a warm-up suit for track athletes, first introduced in the 1980s.
Of course, Britpop stars made sure we didn’t forget that the activewear brand could be worn more casually, too — with the likes of Mel C, Robbie Williams and the Gallagher brothers all spotted in the funnel neck jackets in the ’90s. And, of course, the fashion set started calling on the adidas track pants once again last summer, suggesting they were the only option for off-duty dressing.
But, as we likely expected, Molly-Mae ensured she leaned into spring/summer 2026 fashion trends when leading on creative direction for her latest collaboration. Specifically, monochromatic colour blocking, relaxed tailoring, and burgundy paired with baby blue — lessons learnt from the runways of Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and Tory Burch.
Talking of the collection, Molly-Mae said: “Seeing my creative vision come to life on two iconic adidas Originals silhouettes that have long been staples in my wardrobe is a true dream.
