GLAMOUR spoke to numerologist Sonia Ducie about the significance of repeated numbers.

“All numbers are angelic in that the spirit world is within everything, and everyone,” she says. “However, numbers that are doubled or repeated become whats called Master Numbers, meaning they channel down the higher angelic vibrations onto planet earth.”

Astrologist Francesca Oddie adds: “An angel number is a repeating number that stands out as significant. These numbers make you stop as you think to yourself ‘that’s weird!’ The number conveys a message and if you look around and connect with angel numbers you’ll find yourself guided.”

Since the 1111 angel number is a repetition of the number one, it makes sense to start there. “Number one is the first number. The transfer of information from sky down to earth, the conduit,” says Francesca.

The double-digit version of one – 11 – is thought to be an even higher vibration of its single digit counterpart, and is known to be one of the most powerful master numbers. “11 is a master number because it contains the inspiration and speed of the one, but contains the energy of two, that of partnership, collaboration and harmony. An 11 is a higher octave of the 2,” she adds.

So, the 1111 angel number brings together many different energies. “1111 is a double 11, or a four if you add up each number – one times four,” says Sonia.

As for its meaning: “This number is about grounding our higher inspirational creative flow, and using our energy in new and creative ways. Number 11 is the number for intuition and inspiration, and is often linked with spiritual guidance. It helps us to purify our emotions, and to uplift our spirits during times of crisis. It also helps with spiritual transformation.”

A specific example? The date 11/11, of course. “On the 11^th hour of the 11^th day of the 11^th month, 1918, fighting in WWI officially stopped after Germany signed an armistice agreement with allies earlier in the day,” says Francesca.
