Wimbledon 2024 is officially here – here’s where you can watch the action


As one of the biggest tennis competitions in the world kicks off, we are excited for what excitement, wins and drama Wimbledon 2024 might bring.

Alongside the nail-biting matches, we’re also obsessed with the celebrity sightings on Centre Court and their outfits, from Sienna Miller, Daisy Edgar Jones and Emma Watson to the many, many Royal Family members who come by to spectate. It’s a treat all around, really.

When is Wimbledon 2024?

The tennis tournament runs from Monday 1 July until Sunday 14 July, when the men’s singles final will be held. The women’s singles final will be played on Saturday 13th.

The qualifying stages for Wimbledon took place between Monday 24 and Thursday 27 June.

Where can I watch Wimbledon 2024?

It will be broadcast on the BBC, with live matches available to watch on BBC One, BBC Two and the BBC Red Button.

You can also use BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and the app to watch up to 18 different courts, as well as listen to BBC Radio 5 live commentary and nightly match analysis on BBC Two.

Individual courts will be available to watch via BBC iPlayer from 11am each day and the Red Button. There will also be coverage split across BBC One and BBC Two as follows:

Monday 1st July

  • 10:30am-12:15pm (BBC Two)
  • 12:15pm-1pm (BBC One)
  • 1pm-9pm (BBC Two)
  • 2pm-6pm (BBC One)

Tuesday 2nd July

  • 11am-12:15pm (BBC Two)
