The Cleaning Lady is an endlessly thrilling, character-driven saga — while it many not always have been the most subtle of dramas, it will more than satisfy your craving for moreish soapy melodrama. And good news — it’s now available on Netflix. But sadly, its fourth season will officially be its last.
The show premiered on Fox in January 2022. It’s second season dropped later that year, while the third season followed in 2023. The fourth and final season premiered in March 2025, with the final airing in June of the same year.
Shortly after the finale of season 4, Fox announced that the show would not be returning for a fifth season, per TV Insider. So, why was The Cleaning Lady cancelled?

What is The Cleaning Lady about?
The show follows Thony (Elodie Yung), a single mother who, formerly a doctor in Cambodia, is now working low-paid jobs in Las Vegas as she tries to make ends meet and pay for an expensive medical treatment for her son. Meanwhile, her husband, Marco, is doing his best to secure a visa to join them in the States. Things take a dramatic turn when Thony witnesses a crime and finds herself wrapped up with an underground criminal organisation — soon, she’s working as their cleaner, naturally.
When is it on Netflix?
The Cleaning Lady landed on Netflix in the UK today, 31 March! So, you can binge it all now — but be warned, things come to a definitive end at the end of season 4.
