Love Is Blind UK has officially wrapped its first season — and to say we are obsessed is an understatement.
Yesterday’s reunion episode brought a few dramatic twists. Sabrina and Steven broke up! Ollie and Demi never got back together! And Catherine, after her failed wedding with Freddie, is now dating — wait for it — another guy from the pods, Jake Singleton-Hill. As Freddie said, “Not long after me and Cat broke up, she started dating somebody from the pods. So that was difficult.”
How did Catherine and Jake reconnect?
Catherine revealed on the Bailiwick Express that Freddie came to Jersey with her after he said no at the altar, but ended things only 24 hours later. Catherine is now dating a different contestant from the show, and has been with him for a year.
“I am with someone from the pods. I’m with a guy with a dog, and the dog lives with us,” she said.
Jake was actually originally engaged to someone else from the pods, but his story didn’t make it onto the show.

“His journey was very rough in there, like, the way he was treated, but I reached out to him,” she explained. “I hadn’t seen him — because I had only seen Freddie and the couples on the retreat — [then] I saw him on social and I was like, ‘Oh, that Jake! I wonder if he’s the one from the show?’”
Naturally, she slid into his DMs. “[At first,] he was like, ‘Wait, aren’t you married?’ I was like, ‘Funny story,’ because obviously [it] was what would have been two weeks after that. So, I was like, ‘Well, no,’ and then we FaceTimed. We were on FaceTime for about five hours that evening and then we spoke every day for five weeks.”
