Oh boy, it’s that time again. Love Island 2025 is nearly upon us – and with the Women’s Euros also taking place this year, we’ll be chasing that ‘Summer 2021’ feeling all over again. Move over, MAFS, the OG is back, and we couldn’t be happier.
And celebrations are in order! It’s the tenth anniversary of the iconic reality dating series, so we’re hoping the producers will pull out all the stops to make the 13th season of Love Island the messiest yet (within reason, OFC).
But we have questions. Will Maya Jama be returning for hosting duties? What about Iain Stirling on the voiceover? Where will the iconic villa be located? When does it actually start? And can we expect any ~surprise~ contestants? For what it’s worth, I’m still not ruling out another Joey Essex cameo.

When does Love Island 2025 start?
Judging from previous years, Love Island is expected to get underway within the first two weeks of June, on a Monday night at 9 pm. While ITV hasn’t officially confirmed when Love Island will be returning to our screens, we can take an educated guess that it will likely be on either Monday, 2nd June or Monday, 9th June. We reckon it’s more likely to be the 2nd June – given it started on the 3rd of June last year and the 5th June the year before.
Who is hosting Love Island 2025?
Maya Jama, AKA the People’s Princess, has confirmed that she will return to host Love Island 2025. Following some dastardly rumours that she would be stepping away from the show, Maya took to her Instagram Stories to clear things up.
Back in December 2024, she posted, “I will be presenting Love Island and have no plans to leave right now. I filmed promo a couple of days ago actually. Fake news is fake news-ing as usual.” And everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, some fans have been concerned that Iain Stirling, our voiceover king and husband of Love Island royalty Laura Whitmore, has been at the centre of ‘quit’ rumours after a fake TikTok account claiming to be Iain posted the following message:
“It’s been a hectic few months for me and the Love Island team having to go back and forth on my decisions.
“Unfortunately I have quit being a voiceover for Love Island UK, however I will still be carrying on for the USA version.”
Like, why would you do that?! Fake news aside, we have no reason to believe that Iain won’t be returning for Love Island 2025.

The Love Island 2025 contestants have yet to be confirmed. But, given it’s the 10th anniversary and all, we wouldn’t be surprised to see some familiar faces.
Where is the Love Island 2025 villa?
For obvious reasons, the exact location of the Love Island villa is kept under wraps. But we do know it’s in Mallorca and that it’s very beautiful.

As per, Love Island will air on ITV2 and ITVX, and STV2 and STV Player for viewers in Scotland. It can’t come soon enough.
