Victoria Beckham just made a major style statement in Paris. September is the month of the year when a plethora of stars take to the streets of the French capital. Why? The ready-to-wear Fashion Week, which brings together celebrities and fashionable girls every season. Naturally, Victoria Beckham is one of them. On September 27, she will unveil her new collection for Spring-Summer 2025.
The former Spice Girl never does things like the other girls. During the 2000s, Victoria Beckham’s style consisted of pieces representative of the Y2k phenomenon, including pleated mini-skirts, crop tops and strapless dresses. Since 2010, the British artist and designer-turned-businesswoman has cultivated a more cutting-edge fashion style. Her wardrobe now includes tailored suits, silk slipdresses and perfectly cut pencil skirts.

She made no exception to her style rules in her latest appearance on the streets of Paris. She was spotted, alongside her son Romeo, in a sophisticated outfit consisting of a Balenciaga top and slip skirt, a Birkin bag signed by Hermès, a pair of her own-brand eyeglasses and, above all, red pumps designed by Pieter Mulier for Alaïa. This flamboyant hue, which accentuates the wearer’s sexy side, is charged with all manner of symbols, from danger to passion to courage. According to the TagWalk search engine, the number of red silhouettes increased by 33% last autumn/winter compared to the previous year. Sometimes, all it takes is one small colourful detail to turn an entire look on its head — and Victoria Beckham clearly knows it.
