According to leading hair stylist and trend forecaster, Tom Smith, lopping back the length and layers “have a practical element that facilitates the generous trimming of hairs after a summer of potential damage.” Shorter cuts can prune away parched and wispy ends and ensure hair looks healthier, plus they pair perfectly with a roll-neck. (Victoria has kept her length long enough to tuck into her collar – a more recent trademark move.)
So for an autumn hair update that has the sign-off from Victoria Beckham, the ’90s Posh Spice bob is the way to go.
