These autumn work outfits will make getting ready in the morning a breeze

While coming back to work after your summer getaway is understandably depressing, there’s one thing that can sweeten the return to the office: autumn work outfits.

It may sound frivolous, but the autumn/winter season is undoubtedly the best time to be more experimental with your wardrobe: free from the obligatory uniform of t-shirts and summer dresses that define the hottest months. There’s only so much fun you can have with fashion when you’re trying not to melt.

September is also the start of the new fashion year, making it the perfect time to re-evaluate your wardrobe.

If you’re organised, you’ll prepare your autumn work outfits the night before to avoid any hassle in the morning. But, let’s be real, a lot of us aren’t that kind of person, as much as we might want to be. In this case, it’s good to have some trusty outfit combos that you can reach for when you’re running late and don’t have time to ruminate on what to wear.

Some looks can simply be achieved through styling tricks with garments you already own, like wrapping your jumper around your shoulders (a huge trend this year) or tucking it into a midi skirt for a relaxed yet put-together look. But, if you truly want to update your wardrobe for this season, we’ve got you.
