This autumn’s trending Adidas trainers are… not exactly trainers.

If there’s a footwear trend that has triumphed in the fashion world this year, it’s the hybrid. Over the months we’ve seen new trends emerge that mix several popular shoes in a single design. Proof of this are: the cowboy mules (mules with a cowboy boot silhouette), the snoafers (sneakers and loafers) or the sneakerinas – born from the union of sneakers and ballerina flats.

Cousins of the sneakerinas, another new hybrid has come into our lives: the sneaker-janes. As the name suggests, this hybrid is the combination of sneakers and mary-janes. For those who want to try new designs, these shoes combine comfort with style.

Although we already saw this hybrid creeping in last spring, this autumn is looking to be the season of Adidas. The brand has launched their twist on the classic Samba sneaker that we adored so much a couple years ago – and that some of us are still wearing–, except now it’s in mary-jane form.
