What is season 5 of The Boys about?
Set not long after the events of The Boys season 4 finale, the new season plunges us into the shocking consequences of martial law, which grants Supers unprecedented and terrifying power. The first episode immediately immerses viewers in Homelander’s (Antony Starr) America, where the erratic, egomaniacal Supe is calling all the shots, and new U.S. President Steven Calhoun (David Edwards) obediently bows to his every whim.
At Homelander’s “Freedom Camp,” Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), and Frenchie (Tomer Capone) are imprisoned, while Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) has vanished entirely.
