She’s Taylor Swift—she’s gonna go to her friend Emma Stone’s movie premiere in New York City the day after being named Time‘s Person of the Year in a furry black coat and slip dress while reinventing the side fringe at the same time.
For the premiere of the Poor Things on December 6, Swift went with an all-black Upper East Side–chic look (even though we know she’s really a downtown girlie). The 12-time Grammy winner wore a sleeveless maxi dress, which she gussied up with the Penny Coat from Charlotte Simone, which features a textured body and voluminous faux fur at the cuffs and collar.
With the addition of delicate gold accessories, soft waves, and her signature cat eye and red lip makeup, the vintage Hollywood-glamour vibes were on point. Despite the frigid December weather, Swift finished the look with a pair of slingback heeled sandals.
She’s Taylor Swift—she’s unintentionally going to steal the spotlight even when she’s very clearly and obviously going out of her way not to detract from someone else’s big moment.
