Now the star’s hair skims her clavicle in wet-look messy layers and features a jagged, piecey fringe. Paired with a burgundy ballgown, complete with a fitted drop-waist bodice and full, billowing skirt, the look was 90% goth.
The makeup echoed the vibe with heavily kohl-rimmed eyes, smokey grey and burgundy eyeshadow and a nude lip – and little to no blush or contour. Even her brows were dyed to match her inky strands.

But Cara’s new hair also leans into Indie sleaze and I can totally see party girls remixing the look as a wet-look, club rat lob this summer.
The dress code at Cannes may be more demure in 2025, but the hair styles certainly aren’t. The red carpet has served up some seriously good transformations with Bella Hadid debuting ghost blonde hair featuring honey and bronde accents. While Kristen Stewart made pink dip-dyed strands our go-to inspiration for festival season. And all of it looks really cool.
