Still Up is the new Apple TV+ series that will shine a light on the world of insomniacs, which is actually all of us, right?!
From BAFTA Award nominee director John Addis, the streamer’s original new comedy series stars Antonia Thomas and Craig Roberts as best friends Danny and Lisa, who are wide awake in the early hours of the morning and rely on each other for conversation to get through those hours when the whole world around them is deep in sleep.
While we wish we had someone ourselves to chat to when having difficulty falling asleep, the two protagonists tell each other every minuscule detail of their life — except for the fact that they are both falling deeply in love with one another!
The official synopsis from Apple TV+ reads: “Bonded by insomnia, best friends Lisa and Danny stay connected to each other late into the night and find their way through a world of wonderfully weird surprises as their relationship deepens.”
With the series taking place after hours, it most definitely looks like it’ll be a fabulous cosy watch for autumn.
Misfits and Small Axe star Antonia Thomas and Submarine actor Craig Roberts take on the lead roles, while the rest of the cast includes Luke Fetherston, Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, and Rich Fulcher.
