Public service announcement: Stella McCartney H&M round two is coming. When? Spring 2026. So, unfortunately, we have a bit of time to kill.
News of the designer collaboration came about last night at the British Fashion Awards in London, when not one but several models/influencers/singers/actors/entrepreneurs (including Emily Ratajkowski, Amelia Gray and Bel Priestly, Glamour‘s recent cover star) stepped out in outfits from the upcoming collection.
As mentioned, this is the second time the two brands have come together; anyone with their finger on the pulse of H&M’s iconic collabs will know that. In fact, if you really know your stuff, you’ll have clocked that this release comes almost exactly 20 years to the day of the last collection – H&M’s second ever collab after Karl Lagerfeld in 2004. So to say I’m excited would be an understatement.
What to expect, then? Stella McCartney is known and adored for her use of certified and responsible materials (many of which are recycled); something H&M has tapped into more themselves over the years. This edit will celebrate that DNA along with signature styles and silhouettes (I’m hoping and praying for an iteration on the Falabella bag).
“I’m excited to reunite with H&M after 20 years since our first collaboration. Reworking pieces from my archive brought back so much energy and joy. This feels like a chance to look at how far we’ve come on sustainability, cruelty-free practices and conscious designs – and to stay honest about how far we still have to go – together,” Stella says. “Real change only happens when we push from both the outside and the inside, and I’ve always believed in infiltrating from within to move the industry forward.”
