Simone Ashley may be a secondary character on Bridgerton season 3, but on the red carpet, she’s still a star.
The actor, who stars as Kate, Viscountess of Bridgerton, in the series, arrived at the premiere of season 3, part 2 in London on June 12 in a diaphanous Del Core dress in a subtle peach hue that matched her strappy stilettos.
The deconstructed silhouette of the dress, including the split bodice and off-the-shoulder draping, gives the impression of the 29-year-old frozen in the act of undressing. Her loose waves only add to the boudoir vibes, which, to be honest, are the perfect complement to her character’s sexy arc on the series.
If a great outfit is all about the details, then Ashley wins best-dressed thanks to the devilishly upturned cone bra, which could be seen from the side as she made her way down the carpet. We love a cheeky little boob moment.
After the remainder of season 3’s episodes dropped on Netflix on June 13, die-hard fans were already frothing at the mouth for season 4. It’s unclear at this moment whether Kate and her hubby, Anthony (together known as Kanthony), will be staying on for another season, however, Ashley and Jonathan Bailey, who plays Anthony, seem more enthusiastic about seeing their characters continue on than their season 1 counterparts.
Even if Kate barely makes an appearance in season 4, I’m officially inviting Simone Ashley to future premieres. We need more of this one on the red carpet, and we’ll take any and all opportunities we can get.
