It’s hard work being a singer, actress, beauty mogul and office co-worker, but Selena Gomez is proud to juggle all of the above seamlessly…ish. In a new video posted to Rare Beauty’s TikTok account, the beauty boss gave fans an office tour at Rare HQ, but instead of giving us a glossy, rose-tinted view of the behind the scenes, she hit us with a hilarious cover of a sound effect created by comedian, Bry Guy Ferreira.
The reason for her office visit? Selena’s been quietly working on the launch of her latest beauty drop, the True To Myself Tinted Pressed Finishing Powder (launching 18 July), which comes in 14 shades, provides a flexible, buildable coverage and reduces shine and photo flash-back.

Back in the office, the video starts with Selena standing in front of Rare’s backlit logo wearing her ‘boss uniform’: a white T-shirt beneath an open white button-up shirt, denim jeans with a snake print belt and white pointed-toe pumps. Her hair is pulled back into a neat centre-parted ponytail to show her chunky gold hoop earrings and she finished things off with a power red lip.
“I light up this office with positivity everyday,” she insists, miming to the original sound, before the video cuts to her sitting behind a desk with a sign that reads ring bell for assistance. “I’m fucking busy, what do you want?” she says, shooting daggers.
Next, she’s re-organising the office fridge before asking “I mean… how hard is it to do it yourself?” Elsewhere in the kitchen she demands “you don’t know how to wash out a coffee pot?!” In the final clip she’s seen squatting in front of the printer shouting “don’t worry, I’ll replace the paper.”

We reckon Selena is due her first Oscar because the exasperated eye rolls and cutting death stares throughout the sketch were immaculate. We’ve probably all experienced an aggy co-worker at some point (some might even be guilty of shooting a few pass-agg comments themselves) and Selena’s impression was spookily spot-on.
Rare Beauty’s caption, however, was quick to reassure fans that their boss couldn’t be further from an office tyrant. “This is even funnier cuz it’s the exact opposite of how Selena Gomez is as a Founder 💀,” it says.
We’ll need an invite to hang out with Selena all day at Rare HQ, um, just to confirm for ourselves, thank youuuu.
