Doechii is the artist to know. After what’s been a star-powered few months post-release of her extended play Alligator Bites Never Heal, the talented 26-year-old is taking over the world. From her hit singles to her historic Grammy win, we’ve seen her career continue to prosper — and her beauty aesthetic has evolved just as much as her career has in the last few years.
Doechii had a Paris Fashion Week of dreams, looking absolutely stunning in everything she wore. In an interview, her stylist Sam Woolf said that their looks for PFW weren’t even truly about Doechii’s personal style but her ethos as a creative. “She commits to a character or a look and embodies that DNA. That’s exactly what we did for each brand or show we went to,” he said.
“We committed to that brand’s DNA and put our own spin on it to make it Doechii. That’s why it felt so authentic, because we worked with brands she actually felt a connection to. People wouldn’t know this, but deep down, she’s a boho girl. [When she was a teenager] Chloé was very in line with her essence. So it was about really putting together a story for each brand,” Sam continued.
