The Paris Fashion Week runways may offer us the fantasy of being engulfed in a cloud of tulle à la Giambattista Valli or draped in braids like at Schiaparelli, but what we also love seeing is how the street style stars interpret what we see on the runways.
Often a spliced and diced mix of high-end designers and beloved staples in their closets, the street style set are pros at serving inspo for how we want to dress that season, and this week has proved no exception.
While NYC sees a lot of grungy, all-black looks, London a plethora of eccentric styles and Milan the most OTT pairings, Paris Fashion Week is known for serving la crème de la crème on and off the runways, be it with ultra-chic ensembles or designer duds from top-to-toe.
This week, the girlies are keeping the 70s, boho trend alive with plenty of fringing and suede, while plaid and gingham continue to be staples as per our autumn trends report.
Less-than-ideal weather in Paris this week has also meant plenty of wet-weather styling, perfect for us to take note of for the coming months.
