Paris is abuzz on the eve of the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, as the pop stars set to perform have been slowly descending on the City of Lights. First Celine Dion caused a stir when she posted photos of herself at the Louvre yesterday. The opening ceremony will be the French-Canadian’s first performance since she was diagnosed in December 2022 with Stiff Person Syndrome (a a rare, chronic neurological disorder that causes muscle stiffness and sometimes intense spasms), forcing her to halt her tour schedule and retreat from the spotlight.

Then last night, Lady Gaga was seen popping out of a restaurant in Paris, already getting into the sporting spirit with her outfit. Keeping lowkey with her blonde locks tucked under a cap, the A Star is Born singer-actress wore a silver bomber jacket with black and white stripes, paired with black trousers, accessorised with a quiet luxury black Celine bag and sunnies.
Lady Gaga, who plays creepy-cool superhero villain Harley Quinn in the Joker films, steps out days after the latest trailer for the sequel Joker: Folie à Deux went public. The film starring Joaquin Phoenix hits theatres this October, but for now the only monsters around here are probably the Little Monsters looking to see how to recreate Lady Gaga’s sporty-chic look.
With the UK still unable to make up its mind about summer temperatures, Lady Gaga’s look is actually a lesson in trans-seasonal dressing. It certainly made us immediately Google new bomber jackets to shop, which can be dressed up like Gaga with slacks and heels or dressed down with denim and trainers.
