A perfect red carpet debut for Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet: the Met Gala 2025. So, could it happen?
Jenner and Chalamet have been together since 2023, and, at first, there were few “official” photographs of them together at public events. They’ve gradually gotten more public with their relationship over the past two years, but while they’ll pose for pictures during events such as the Oscars, they’ve still never walked the red carpet together.
But the Met Gala in 2025 feels like the perfect opportunity to take their relationship to the next red carpet level.

In 2024, Jenner attended the Met Gala alone – channelling Marilyn Monroe in a custom, blush-colored Oscar de la Renta gown with a dramatic train and a pointy bust detail.
Jenner also attended the 2023 Met Gala solo, that time wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier design, which featured a blue silk jacket detail that transformed into the train of the ruby red dress on the museum steps.

As for Chalamet, while he’s been absent from the event lately, he’s no Met Gala rookie. In 2021, he wore a playful white suit to the event, pairing a crisp double-breasted blazer with white sweatpants and white high-top Converse sneakers.
Judging by recent history, there’s a more-than-decent chance that Jenner will return for the Met Gala in 2025. And Chalamet, being the dandy that he is, would surely make the most of the night’s Tailored for You dress code.
That said, there’s still the possibility that a Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Met Gala 2025 debut is happening, but that they do not take the red steps together. Instead, we might see them walking hand-in-hand to the after-party, or perhaps in a few selfies posted to Instagram.
After all, that has kind of been their go-to move up to now.
