I’m usually on the side of “If you make your life a reality show, just deal with people’s thoughts about it,” but this is actually out of pocket. Kourtney Kardashian Barker is currently pregnant with her fourth child, her first with husband Travis Barker, after a long journey with IVF.
Understandably, she feels super grateful to have made it this far into the pregnancy – she’s due in a couple months! But sharing that gratitude online has sparked some criticism, and it’s… a bit of a stretch.
“Growing you inside of me, my son, is the greatest blessing, honour and joy,” she wrote on Instagram alongside some bikini pics and a short video clip of herself lounging on an inner tube in a pool. Barker commented, “The most beautiful🤰🏻,” which is sweet, and we could all leave it there, right? Sadly, no.

“Mason, Penelope and Reign reading this like 👀 👀,” reads the top comment, a reference to Kourt’s three kids with ex Scott Disick. Honestly, this comment feels like a joke, and a fair one –everyone kids about sibling rivalry! But other comments… oof.
“Total dig to the sisters who didn’t, they were more worried about their bodies. Props to you for keeping it real! 🙌🔥,” says one with more than 3,000 likes, a reference to sisters Kim and Khloé, both of whom welcomed children via surrogate after each giving birth to their first. Other commenters basically repeated these sentiments, reminding. Kourtney Kardashian Barker that she has three other kids (I don’t think she forgot!) and comparing her with her sisters (what else is new).
Thankfully, there are also some grounded people in the mix, writing things like, “The amount that people read into things with them just to be difficult. Carrying ANY baby is the greatest blessing and joy when it’s something you’ve been desperately trying for or wanting. That doesn’t negate her love for her other children. Good lord.” Hear, hear.
Anyway, if you’re in the mood to Kardashian-shame, it’s probably more productive to take your feelings over to Kim’s page, where she is posting some definitely not sponsored content about a lifesaving medical scan you can’t afford!
