Jennifer Lopez gives a masterclass in nailing the ’70s trend this autumn

Although she preferred to wear skinny, low-rise jeans in the early 2000s, Jennifer Lopez has also alway been one to adapt her look according to the latest trends. Naturally, this means that she has bid farewell to the skinny styles and is embracing the wider designs that have dominated the catwalks in recent seasons. Just take her look this weekend in Beverly Hills, where the singer and actress was spotted wearing a chic pair of flared jeans paired with a bohemian floral print blouse in a warm autumnal colour palette.

J.Lo may be a pop star, but in this look she might as well be a rock star from 1970s Hollywood. Stevie Nicks, is that you? Lopez’s flared wide-leg jeans in washed-out blue with washed-out were, to be specific, a waist-high pair by Dior. These jeans have become one of her favourites – a few days ago she wore the same model, but with a white blouse that nodded to the same retro bohemian trend.

On her latest outing, she chose to wear a printed chiffon blouse with a more ethereal aesthetic thanks to its wide billowing sleeves. The Bronx singer complemented the look with a pair of Gucci platform shoes in off-white.

And, of course, Jennifer Lopez knows that accessories are important. She wore XL sunglasses, her favourite silhouette inspired by ’70s trends, from Le Specs, and carried a suede bag in brown by Brunello Cucinelli, and completed the look with gold jewellery.

The whole ensemble was aligned with the vision that fashion houses like Chloé and Etro have continued to reaffirm for Fall-Winter 2025 fashion trends fondly known as boho chic. And as Lopez has just shown us, it’s a look that really comes into its own in autumn.
