If Jennifer Aniston could only wear one nail design for the rest of her life? We’d put money on her choosing French nails, as she’s so often spotted on the red carpet flashing a classic combo of milky pink base coat and white tips.
So it’s no surprise that she’s chosen to level-up her latest manicure with a new spin on this minimalist trend – and just in time for Valentine’s Day.
In pictures uploaded to her Lolavie Instagram account on February 5, Jen can be seen with Selena Gomez at a Galentine’s Event organised by her brand and Selena’s label Rare Beauty in West Hollywood.

Wearing a black trouser suit, with a top slashed down to her navel, the look is all about fluid, minimalist lines. In keeping with the nude tones she has chosen for the rest of her makeup, Jen can also be seen sporting short, square nails with straight edges.
The polish shade? A soft pink with milky undertones that could lean into the BB cream nail trend were it not for the thread of metallic shimmer seemingly running through it.
The tips, meanwhile, are so micro you could almost miss them. Not to mention, they’re a similar milky hue to the polish, tying the whole nail look together seamlessly.

If you’re happy to steer clear of red nails or hearts at this time of year, then this manicure could be just the ticket. It’s feminine, sophisticated and – better still – it’s so timeless it will be trending well beyond just Valentine’s Day.
Or take a leaf out of Jennifer Aniston’s book and apply a coat of milky nude nail polish over already finished French nails – and pop open a bottle of wine with the girls.
