How to get £1 tickets to Romeo & Juliet

To make the show more accessible, a pay-what-you-can initiative has been introduced. Each Wednesday at 10am, 30 seats for the following week’s performances will be made available through an online lottery on the show’s official website. Those lucky enough to secure tickets can choose what to pay, with a minimum price of £1, and can book up to two seats each.

This scheme operates separately from standard ticket sales, which continue through the theatre box office and authorised sellers at full price. Given the limited number of discounted seats, demand is expected to be extremely high.

Who’s in the cast with Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe?

Alongside Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe, Marvel’s Clark Gregg will play Capulet, Clare Perkins (Player Kings) will play Nurse, John Marquez (Pygmalion) will be Friar Laurence, and Kasper Hilton-Hille (Troilus & Cressida) is Friar John and Mercutio.

How does the London play take on the Shakespeare classic?

Shakespeare purists may not be too thrilled, as the production promises a modern retelling of the classic tragedy. Robert Icke is pretty well known for taking classic texts and giving them a bold, contemporary spin, so be prepared for a fresh perspective.
