About four years ago, the singer, now 32, became the subject of speculation after a DeuxMoi blind item claimed a certain “A-list musician/ occasional actor” had nearly gone bald but was using a very convincing hairpiece. There was no evidence that the blind was about Styles, but naturally, the internet decided it was about him.
Since then, online sleuths have obsessively analysed photos of his hair, zooming in on his hairline and debating whether he might be wearing a toupee. Theories have multiplied across fan forums and social media threads, with people attempting to decode every public appearance.

Is Harry Styles secretly bald?
Styles was the guest on an episode of Brittany Broski’s Royal Court, released on February 25, appearing in fake elf ears, a crown, and an embroidered cape — the ACOTAR girlies were absolutely living for it.
During the conversation, the pair covered a wide range of topics, including the dating app Raya, Styles’ ability to eat surprisingly large quantities of yoghurt, and his meticulous preparation for the possibility of needing to find a bathroom during runs. They also touched on his unusual early-homeownership interior design choices (yes, the statue of Jesus wearing boxing gloves), and his surprising habit of watching old episodes of Supernanny when he can’t sleep.
When asked by the host whether his teeth were fake, Styles denied it but then joked, “This hairline, though,” leaving the rest open to interpretation.
Styles has previously addressed the hair rumours in August 2022 during an interview with Rolling Stone, saying he hadn’t even heard of them until his collaborator Kid Harpoon (Thomas Edward Percy Hull) drew his attention to the online chatter.
“He won’t stop sending me messages about people trying to work out if I’m bald,” Styles said of the British songwriter.
At the time, Styles insisted he wasn’t balding and expressed optimism about his genetics. “What is it with baldness? … It skips a generation or something, right? If your grandad’s bald then you’ll be bald? Well, my granddad wasn’t bald, so fingers crossed.”
