And while we love her many takes on cargo pants or oversized denim shorts, it’s her footwear repertoire that we can’t get enough of.
Whether she’s debuting her new favourite trainer silhouette, the shoe colour of the season, high-rise Ugg boots or her latest – potentially most controversial – ballet trainer, there are very few footwear moments from EmRata that we aren’t influenced by.
Of course, with the weather in New York a similarly boiling hot picture to this week in London, trainers and Ugg Boots are no longer the go-to option. Switching things up for summer, Emily Ratajkowski has just dubbed Axel Arigato’s Delta flip-flops the shoe of the season.

There is nothing overstyled about this outfit but – as we’ve come to expect with EmRata – there’s a convincing proposal of a summer shoe that works for everything. And that, at a time when many of us are in search of such an item, is a very dutiful act of sartorial public service.
