‘At Home With The Furys’ is the unexpected show of the summer


Every now and then, we are treated to a surprise TV moment. And Netflix’s exclusive docuseries At Home With The Furys is one of them.

Following world-renowned boxer Tyson as he navigates family life, mental health struggles and retirement from boxing, we get an insight into a different side of the legend.

What’s more, we get a sneak peak behind the scenes of Love Island stars Molly Mae and Tommy Fury’s family life as well.

Here’s everything you need to know about the series.

What is At Home With The Furys about?

It covers a fair amount of ground, according to Netflix’s official synopsis: “At Home with the Furys will have exclusive access to the heavyweight champion of the world as he exits the ring and tries to embrace retirement with his extraordinary family including wife Paris, father John and his six children.

“Alongside changing nappies and the school run, At Home with the Furys will see Tyson constantly looking for projects to keep him busy, from a world tour to meet his fans, to lavish family holidays, encounters with other A-listers and impromptu family camping trips.”

We get to know Tyson’s wife Paris, as well as his six children: Prince John James, Athena, Prince Tyson Fury II, Valencia Amber, Prince Adonis Amaziah and Venezuela.

What themes does At Home With The Furys cover?

The TV series doesn’t begin and end with Tyson’s boxing career. We learn so much about his experiences with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and ADHD, as well as his struggle to create purpose after leaving the ring.
