Speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con, Jeff gushed: “Everyone knows that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a huge influence on Teen Wolf. So I always thought it would be amazing if we could bring Sarah Michelle Gellar back to a horror show.”

What does Sarah Michelle Gellar play in Wolf Pack, and what has she said about the series?
Sarah makes her grand supernatural telly comeback playing an arson investigator named Kristin Ramsey. The show and her character were dubbed a “Buffy descendent” by The Hollywood Reporter, with the actress telling the publication: “To come back, to get projects made, you have to pay homage to what you’re known for. If I do things that speak to the fan base — which I think these will — and gather some new people along the way, maybe I branch out again. It’s not the next act for me, but it’s certainly a new chapter.”
In a separate interview with the PA news agency, the star explained why she was so drawn to the supernatural genre. “You get to tell deeper stories,” she said. “I think supernatural sometimes allows the most superhuman stories to be told. Which I love because it’s creative.”
