The pair seemed to be going very strong after their face-to-face meeting and their trip to Greece. They hit one little bump when Jasmine found Bobby’s old music video. (And, yes, you too can watch the iconic “Body of a Dancer” for yourself right here.)
For Jasmine, the video, which showed Bobby romancing bikini-clad girls on a beach, brought up some insecurities.
“I’ve had relationships before where, you know, the guy couldn’t be trusted on social media, and that made me feel really insecure,” Jasmine said. “It has brought those feelings back. Social media has been such an insecurity for me, especially with my past experiences, following girls and liking pictures. I trust Bobby, but if he has any skeletons in the closet, Firecracker Jasmine’s gonna come out, and that’s it.”
They hit another little snag when Bobby met Jasmine’s mom for the first time. Jasmine’s mother was, it’s fair say, very protective of her daughter. She even promised her daughter that she would be an active player in “every part of her relationship” and that she would need to know about every single argument the couple had.
Bobby and Jasmine’s Love Is Blind UK wedding
As it turned out, even Jasmine’s mumzilla didn’t turn Bobby off — on their wedding day, both Jasmine and Bobby said “I do” and officially got married.
Jasmine even ignored her mother’s concerns about Bobby to tie the knot.
“I respect my mum. I respect her opinion,” she said after her wedding. “As much as I love her, ultimately it’s my decision to make and I’m really happy.”
Jasmine’s mother soon came around to their marriage. “There were worries but they look so happy together. My God, I can’t stop crying,” she said of the couple.
Jasmine later confessed that she did believe that love was blind.
