Heaton’s presence isn’t much of a surprise, given that his girlfriend, Natalia Dyer, was also there, so worst-case scenario, he was a plus one! McLaughlin kept it classic in a black suit and tie, while Heaton layered a long black coat over charcoal grey trousers, striking that effortlessly moody vibe fans know and love.

Two other missing faces? Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp. Some Stranger Things viewers speculate that Millie skipped because, at her own wedding, the cast were mostly absent too. Only Matthew Modine (Eleven’s dad) and Schnapp attended her celebrations — and even Millie’s two weddings, one intimate and one in Italy, were largely without her co-stars.
That said, it might just be logistics. In an Instagram post marking the end of Stranger Things, Millie wrote: “I love each and every one of you, and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you.” Plus, Bobby Brown has a young child, which could’ve factored into her absence.
Rumours of tension in the cast have circulated for a while, especially after that SNL appearance where Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, and Gaten Matarazzo noticeably left Noah Schnapp out of the fun. No one has confirmed a feud, but the speculation isn’t stopping anytime soon.
