One Piece season 2 has dropped swashbuckling news: we now officially know who will be joining (and staying on) the cast for the second instalment. Most excitingly? Charithra Chandran of Bridgerton fame.
So what is One Piece about? For the uninitiated, the series is the first live-action adaptation of the bestselling manga series, which, according to Netflix, follows “a legendary high-seas quest unlike any other.
“Luffy is a young adventurer who has longed for a life of freedom ever since he can remember,” a synopsis for season one reads. “He sets off from his small village on a perilous journey to find the legendary fabled treasure, One Piece, to become King of the Pirates.”
