Tommy is back to face a reckoning from both the local community and his family due to his past… transgressions. According to the press notes for the film: “With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground.” Thrilling stuff. We can’t wait to see what he’ll do.

Of course, we have some familiar faces — most obviously, Cillian Murphy, and we’re pleased to share that Stephen Graham is back once again. Other series alums include Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck.

But there’s also a whole host of stellar acting talent that’s been added to the film, including Barry Keoghan, playing Tommy’s son, Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, Silo) who appears to play the main female protagonist, acting opposite Cillian. Her role seems to combine the personalities of Grace Burgess and Polly Gray from the series, whose deaths were some of the most heartbreaking in Peaky Blinders history.
We also have Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs), who, from the trailer, appears to play some sort of governmental figure, plotting ways to win the war. It’s a star-studded cast, to say the least.

Will this be the final Peaky Blinders outing?
At the BFI London Film Festival, Stephen Knight confirmed that the film will “probably be the sort of the end of the road for Peaky Blinders as we know it.”
But that doesn’t mean it’ll definitely be its final outing. There has been talk of other spin-offs.
Anthony Byrne, a director of season six, hinted to The Sunday Times that there might be a spin-off of the younger Peaky Blinders, a new generation of flat caps and swagger.
He said: “Steve wants to do a spin-off show featuring younger Peakies, who we might see potentially coming to London and causing havoc and maybe getting involved with other gangs.”
