Set along one of the Caribbean’s most iconic stretches of sand, the sprawling Beaches Turks and Caicos resort combines classic tropical backdrops with laid-back living. Palm trees frame the half mile of white beach, and sunsets here are some of the best in the tropics.
THE VIBE

The main draw here, though, is the sheer breadth of activities on offer and the round-the-clock entertainment. It really is impressive if you like your holidays with plenty to do. There are two state-of-the-art spas, 10 pools, scuba diving, a water sports centre offering sailing, plus horse riding, padel, tennis and basketball. Plus nightly entertainment including live shows featuring Dj’s and musicians. It even has its own water park.
This is a resort which leans into its boundless variety, one where active couples and families will never run out of things to do. The best bit is that, since it’s all-inclusive with food, drink, and most activities included, you can rest assured that once you arrive, there will be no hidden extras.
THE ROOMS

Rooms are spacious with beachfront villas and suites designed to accommodate families and larger groups. They range from spacious garden or pool views to sprawling villas with balconies and walk-out patios, plus fridges stocked daily with a range of drinks.
There’s also an optional butler service who will make reservations at any restaurant, book your spot on the beach, and plan excursions to a nearby nature reserve. They’ll even come and check you have enough drinks as you recline on your sun lounger!
WHAT’S NEW?

The resort is entering an exciting new era. It recently underwent a $150 million expansion, adding a new villa complex set to elevate the resort into a mini town. The stunning new suites at Treasure Beach Village feature minimalist suites with sea views, as well as two-, three-, and four-bedroom luxury rooms overlooking Grace Bay.
Looking for somewhere to host a party? The three-storey Crystal Sky 4-Bedroom Reserve Villas accommodate up to 10 guests with a private pool and rooftop deck. There’s also a pristine new 15,000-square-foot pool, uniquely designed with a natural gradient that mimics the beach, and it overlooks the sea. Oh, and a mini cinema minutes from the beach to keep the kids occupied.
If youré thinking about getting married, the resort offers a brand new eco-conscious wedding, while Beaches and its sister resort Sandals have been named the ‘Official All-Inclusive Resorts’ for pickleball by USA Pickleball, one of the UK’s fastest-growing paddle sports, and a favourite of celebs such as Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
FOOD AND DRINKS
The culinary canvas here is broad. From beach-front grills to French bistros, Japanese teppanyaki to Italian Pizzeras, the breadth of choice here is impressive. Stand out restaurants are the Caribbean restaurant on the beach front – a casual setting where you can dine overlooking the ocean, and the steakhouse with an open kitchen where we watched the chefs prepare our dinner.
We also loved the Barefoot By The Sea cafe on the beach and the traditional Italian pizzeria. Service was nothing short of excellent at all of them.
DON’T MISS!

The excursions. Ask the concierge for a list of organised trips outside the resort. We particularly enjoyed a visit to Little Water Cay, otherwise known as Iguana Island, a protected nature reserve home to 3,000 endangered Turks and Caicos Iguanas.
Accessible only by Kayak or boat, we made our way there through mangroves, which was magical. Seeing lizards in their natural habitat was an unforgettable experience, and we even stopped on the way back to see turtles. Truly incredible.
