Four months after the release of her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor Swift has dropped a new music video for “Opalite” – the third track on the LP.
Heavily influenced by ’80s pop culture (it features karaoke, perms and lycra workout gear), the video also includes many a familiar face.

In an Instagram post, the Elizabeth Taylor singer explained that she had a “spark of an idea” when she was doing the promo for her new album.
During the press tour last year, on the day of release, she was a guest on late-night talk show, The Graham Norton Show, where she discussed her work and upcoming nuptials to Travis Kelce.
During the episode, another Graham’s guests, Domnhall Gleeson, joked about being her next music video – which the music mogul took very seriously.
