After 12 weeks, it’s all come down to this. Yes, The Apprentice 2025 final is upon us and we’ll finally know which of the contestants have been chosen to become Lord Sugar’s new business partner — and the recipient of his coveted £250,000 investment.
It’s certainly been a tough competition — of the 18 original candidates, only two finalists remain. The final is sure to be tense — and we can’t wait.
Here’s everything we know.
Which contestants are going into The Apprentice 2025 final?
First of all, which contestants actually made it to the final? Well, the final battle will be between Anisa Khan, the owner of a pizza company, and Dean Franklin, an air conditioning salesman.
“I was really happy, but when I went into this competition my mindset was always to win. I kept my eye on the prize,” said Khan after discovering she was a finalist. “So even though the losses, obviously, weren’t planned and they had a bit of impact on me because no-one wants to lose every single week, a part of me knew I’d always make it to the final because I kept that mindset. And there’s something I did as well, which is I had planned my outfit for the final, which is a cultural outfit.”
Meanwhile, Franklin said, “I mean, it’s a dream, you sign up to this process and you think, ‘I’ve got a one-in-80,000 chance of actually getting on the show.’ To get on the show is a massive achievement in itself, you’ve already defied the odds, and you’ve already got to a good point. But for me, the goal was to make the final five. I thought if I get to the final five, I’m happy. And then to go on further and further and you think, ‘Can I win it?’ to make the final was massive for me.”
Do they really film two endings of The Apprentice?
Yes! Funnily enough, there are two versions of the Apprentice finale out there, each featuring a different winner. According to the BBC website, although he makes his decision on the day of the final boardroom, Lord Sugar does not even tell the production team or the finalists who the real winner is until “the day before the transmission of the final programme” — in other words, the winner only found out that they actually won yesterday!
When is The Apprentice 2025 final?
Clear your calendars for this evening because The Apprentice 2025 final airs on BBC One this evening, April 17, at 9pm. It will run for an hour and will be directly followed by The Apprentice: You’re Fired, the accompanying show for fans that will see comedian Tom Allen interviewing tonight’s winner.
