Spring is officially on the horizon and with our clocks changing promptly this Sunday, we’re looking to change up our wardrobes too. Raise your hand if you, too, are growing tired of your coats?
In stylist lingo, March is the time to “flip your closet” which basically means to rotate your wardrobes, dust off those spring dresses and put away your heavy knits—you know the drill.

Assuming the British weather forecast is staying on track this year (we’re crossing our fingers and toes), we’ll soon be able to swap our UGG boots for cute flats and our jumpers for dresses. But if you, like me, are a little rusty when it comes to spring dressing, thankfully there are loads of runway and street style inspiration we could glean from.
According to the spring/summer 2025 trends on the catwalk, the water-resistant parka will be the one jacket to replace our heavy-duty winter coats with and fairy layers in pretty pastel hues will take over the sheer black dresses we saw over Christmas. As for street style? Our favourite tastemakers have found ways to dress up last year’s trending pieces from rugby shirts to jorts to give them a fresh take for 2025.
Below, check out 15 spring outfit ideas we can’t wait to wear as soon as temps hit the double-digits.

Okay, we said double-digits but we never said how high. Now is the time for your spring coats to shine. A long blazer or floral number is just waiting for its close-up and they’re the easiest way to dress up a pair of jeans-and-tank combo. This season, like our favourite trending trainers, retro hues and colour-blocked jackets are the way to go. Pile on the nostalgia with some kick-flared trousers too.
